MRSA infection started at scalp

MRSA infection started at scalp

Don't try to shave off your hair using a hand razor during chemo! I must have slightly knicked myself and this brought on the most wicked MRSA infection!

Ouch! Hope it heals well.
That was 2 years ago. It healed with a crater in my neck. This was followed 6 months later by one on my armand one on my buttocks which required hospitalization and surgery. Nothing to mess around with!
OMG, I can't think of a scarier subject, just out of a horror movie! Now that's gone, is it really out of your system? What a terrible thing to go through if chemo isn't enough glad you're better.
OMG! ouch. That is major.
MRSA lays dormant in your body. I do believe we have irradicated it but it took quite some doing, bleaching the whole house, swabbing our noses with bactriban and I have not had any recurrences in over a year.
Owwies! I hope you NEVER have to deal with that again.
